CLEAN UP A BUSINESS
Business clean-up. Many businesses need to have the area around them cleaned up. Restaurants might have trash around the edges of their parking
lots, some businesses may need their signs washed, and others could need their sidewalks and lots swept. A crew of young people could clean up a
property in an hour for a set fee, and the business could write off the contribution on their taxes. This is good for 8th Grade fundraisers or 8th Grade
Confirmation Community Service activities.
COFFEE SALES

actual coffee bean sales
COOKIE DOUGH SALES

it is awesome to just have ready-to-go cookie dough

DOG WASH & GROOMING
A car wash is one of the most common fundraising ideas out there, but a dog wash is less common. Find a place where many people walk their dogs. A

FAMILY PORTRAITS
Kids have their school pictures, but many schools are doing a family portrait night with a company like Olan Mills. We all want to get family portraits done,

those photos.

have each of those businesses have education classes every hour
have all businesses sponsoring this event donate 10% of their sales back to you
have every business involved donate an raffle item
goal is to have as many vendors/businesses as there will be hours of your event (e.g. 12 hour crop = 12 businesses)

CALENDAR COORDINATION
Be sure to sit down with the administration and any individual class fundraisers to coordinate your calendars.

Often 8th graders in elementary school may have their own fundraisers.
Often school teams may have their own fundraisers.
Often High School Seniors may have their own fundraisers.
Be sure to get all key members meeting at the table at the very beginning of the school year to coordinate a calendar of events
Keep each other posted of any updates, additions, deletions, or changes throughout the year
