What's most important? What have you tried, but didn't work? Are you
where you thought you'd be? Do you know what the goal is? Are you in
action? What's stopping you?Whether you're interested in executive
coaching, entrepreneurial coaching, leadership development, personal
coaching or group coaching, we are committed to playing your game by
your rules. Just like an athletic coach, we partner with you to go beyond what
is currently comfortable, achievable and possible. We sign up for
excellence, and we are your champion for change and development. You
can expect to be challenged, supported, inspired and capable of things that
previously seemed impossible for you.

Our clients range from realtors to parents, sales managers to entrepreneurs,
artists to network marketers, consultants to ... Usually, these clients are
ambitious, healthy, successful, open to change, eager to learn and looking
for results. They may have studied books, taken various courses, and tried
several training methods in order to bring about some sort of change in their
personal or professional lives. They all want to go beyond what they currently
believe is possible for themselves. While they surround themselves with
resources telling them how to do something, they notice they get stuck at a
certain point, no matter how well the strategy to achieve the subject is
explained.

The truth is, our clients have all the knowledge, wisdom, strategies and
tactics necessary to do whatever they set their minds to. The Coach pulls
this knowledge from the client, and then builds a system of support and
accountability to achieve the client's goals.

HullaBaloo Maternity & Infant Wear
210a West 6th Street, Royal Oak, Michigan, 48067

Mother Owners:  Michelle Bishop & Stacey Spurgeon

When you hear of two people meeting on-line you wouldn’t image it turning
out like this! That’s how partners of HullaBaloo Maternity & Infant Wear,
Stacey and Michelle met! While pregnant for the first time, these two moms
met on a board for “babies on the brain” and realized they were due at the
same time and delivering at the same hospital. With this in common, the
girls began chatting about the ups and downs of pregnancy, including the
selection – or lack there of – of maternity clothes in their hometowns in
suburban Detroit.

In the fall the girls were born, Stacey’s little Mary came two weeks early and
Michelle delivered Sydney right on time! After returning back to their busy
nine-to-five jobs, the girls realized there had to be a better way to balance a
career and their new families. And thus Hullabaloo Maternity & Infant Wear
was born.

The inspiration came from the frustrating hunt for fashionable maternity
clothes at a reasonable price. And to add the hard-to-find sizes like petites
(that Stacey struggled to find for herself), talls & plus would make it even
more perfect! And to add the infant clothing seemed natural, especially with
two girls to dress! So the search for boutique chic but budget friendly
clothing lines began.

Nine months after the first brainstorm meeting the doors of HullaBaloo
Maternity & Infant Wear opened in October 2005, in Royal Oak, Michigan.
The downtown area is known for its eclectic gift and clothing stores and
seemed to be the perfect location for the store.

Photography, Custom Artwork, Greeting Cards
I love that every day for a short while I get to be a part of someone else’s
family.  It’s the children I get to photograph from the very beginning and year
after year that most touch my soul.   I get to watch them grow and my family
grows along with them.  My time with them is brief, yet it is easy to see their
qualities as only a mother would see.  The kids open to me and for a
moment they are mine, caught on film and in my heart forever.

I think as parents, we forget over time the reasons a particular age or stage
our children go thorough is hard.  We become engrossed in getting through
the next difficult phase and the one after that as well.  Often times, we forget
the sounds of a child learning to say “no!” or the evil laugh that tells you from
another room that she is torturing the dog again.  It is only the spark in her
eye or the smirk on her face captured in a photograph that remains to
remind us of the childhood that has raced by in the blink of an eye.

In my recent collage work, I have rekindled a love I had as a child for paper
dolls, scissors and glue.  The images get layered with paint, clippings and
text until the subjects become more alive.  Most of my days are like a
second chance at my own childhood.  I get a do over!  I get to play with the
kids and get messy.  What could be better!  I get to be surrounded by loving
and supportive people.  I have a cheerleader that yells “yea mama!”  When I
run up the steepest hills, my biggest fan reminds me it’s all worth it!  How
can I go wrong?  How could I let them down?  I can’t!  So as they cheer and
encourage, I push on creating from my own life experiences.
