The MSTA mission is to stimulate support, and provide leadership for the improvement of science education throughout Michigan. Join us for Science Out of the Box, the
54th Annual Conference of the Michigan Science Teachers Association. The event will take place at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Center in Grand Rapids
Michigan, March 15-17, 2007. Attendance is expected to exceed 2,500 teachers and administrators from Michigan with many nationally known speakers and guests.
Current issues and teaching techniques in science will be highlighted throughout the conference. The theme of the 2007 Conference, "Science Out of the Box", exemplifies
the letter and spirit of the MSTA mission statement. In planning and preparing for the conference we have surveyed the MSTA membership and met with our vendors and
exhibitors in order to add value to all aspects of the conference. This will be a professional development experience of extraordinary value for teachers, curriculum
