Mary: Thank you for your support. You can’t go back when the other person doesn’t want to change, doesn’t want to try, doesn’t want to go to counseling, doesn’t love you anymore, and actually hates you. I never wanted my marriage to end. I survived his first mid-life crisis 7 years ago because he tried and went to counseling. I could not survive the one 7 years later as he was tapped out and didn’t want that life or his wife anymore. I even separated for a year and moved only a mile away and said for the sake of our three wonderful, special, beautiful children and 17 years, you have one year to find your way back to your marriage. He declined and did NOTHING in that year. I was very sad and very hurt. But you know what? I deserve better. I deserve love. I am worthy. I deserve someone who loves and cherishes me and all that is special about me. I know in my heart, mind, body, and soul I tried everything, but it takes 2 people to make a relationship work. Now, 16 months later from when I walked out the door with my kids – it is not muddy anymore and it is so clear. We are not a good match and need different things from partners at this time in our lives. I wish him all the best in finding what he looking for and needs from a partner. I do not pine for him and not one fiber of my being or atom of my soul wants him anymore. I work very very hard to make sure we have an amicable co-parenting relationship and do not stop him from being involved with our kids in any way shape or form due to what happened or my pain. Life unfolds as it needs to unfold as painful as that is sometimes to understand in life. I keep positive and hopeful that the 2nd half of my life has many great things to come! [I turned 40 in November 2011].

Melissa, it was so sad to read about your marriage break up...Did you feel that there was "no going back" ? Was reconciliation ever an option? You are a brave person and I think that many of us stay in marriages out of fear of the unknown.

Danae: I take a variety of daily supplements: D-Drops Vitamin D drops, multi-vitamin, pro-biotic, iron 2x a week, chromium 2x a week, granulated bee pollen, and d-mannose as needed. So I got a whole lot in my arsenal! Thanks for reading the blog post and sharing Danae!

Found you through #mombizmondays - just blown away by the tremendous community! And feeling sweetly satisfied with the dear little reminders in this post. As a mama to a two year old, deep talks in the car are all about the cows and horses we pass on the way to school... but I certainly know she is watching every interaction I have! Thanks for all of this, Marisa

Coffee not only makes me a better person in general, it makes me human in the morning. I swear, I roll out of bed with more than half my brain totally shut down until the caffeine kicks in. Mornings just aren't my thing!
